Once a supplier's quotation to your Request for Quotation (RFQ) is vetted by the HKTDC administrator, an email notification will be sent to the buyer.
1. Log into the Message Centre
Buyer can login to hktdc.com Sourcing and go to Message Centre to communicate with the supplier.
2. Reply to Supplier via Email
Buyer can directly reply the email notification titled “Supplier responses to your request for quotation”, sent from the email address hktdcenquiry@sourcinghktdc.org. Your messages will be sent to the supplier via both email and the Message Centre.
TIPS on Replying via Email:
Whenever a buyer or supplier replies to the other party on the message centre of hktdc.com Sourcing, an email notification (sent by hktdcenquiry@sourcing.hktdc.org) will be automatically sent to the counterpart.
The receiver can reply directly to the email notification (using the email address receiving the notification) to continue the business discussions. The content sent via the email will then be automatically forwarded to the original counterpart.
Important Notes:
1. Messages forwarded to non-registered accounts will be returned by email with an error message.
2. Further communications with suppliers can be conducted via email or the Message Centre. All the messages exchanged via email or the Message Centre can be found in the Message Centre.
3. For email with attachment(s), an error message will be received by email if:

The attachment file name exceeds more than 255 characters or contains symbols other than period (.) and underscore (_).

The attached file type is not jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, or tiff format.

The sender attaches more than 4 attachments.

The total email size exceeds 3MB.

The sender has exceeded the daily attachment size limitation of 30 MB.
If any of the above occurs, the system will continue to send the message to the receiver without the attachment(s).
