Utilise paid exposure (for product & service)
Paid exposure is a feature on our platform that allows suppliers to further promote their selected product(s)/service(s) during a specific period of time in a specific section of the website. This feature will allow suppliers to easily launch their online promotions on hktdc.com Sourcing with high flexibility.
The following is an example on how to use the paid exposure feature for Product Promotion:
- Plan your promotion
Answer the following questions before using paid exposure:
- Which product(s)/service(s) in your catalogue will be promoted? (To determine which product(s)/service(s) to use this feature on)
- Is online promotion right for your company?
3. What is the budget available for online promotion?
4. How long will the online promotional campaign run for? (To determine how many Booster to be used)
- Check your outstanding Booster quota
On hktdc.com Sourcing, a Booster is a ticket of paid exposure which allows suppliers to promote their selected products/company for 3 days for a specific period of time in a specific section of the website.
Your paid package may include a certain number of Booster(s) for your promotion.
To check your company’s outstanding Booster quota, go to the “Product & Service Exposure” tab on the “My Dashboard” page.
You can see the Booster quota available at the top of the page:

Choose the suitable type of Booster
Various types of paid exposure are available on hktdc.com Sourcing. To meet your promotion target, you should choose the best type of paid exposure in terms of your needs.
In the “Product & Service Exposure” page, click on the 
button so that you can choose which product(s) to promote. After selecting the product(s), press the “Add” button. (Please remember that the selected product(s) MUST be approved and have the status of Online during the promotion period):
Then select the type of Booster that meets your needs and choose the promotion period for each booster:
To set up multiple promotion period of Booster(s)
You can click the "Add more" button to setup multiple promotion periods for the product/service in a specific section of the website.

After selecting the Booster and choosing the promotion period, click on the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page and confirm your submission.
Please note that once confirmed, your Booster ticket will be deducted from the quota.
- Review the performance
Go to the “Online Store Performance” tab on the “My Dashboard” page to follow the results of the promotion.
