Receiving Online Purchase orders
On hktdc.com Sourcing, Online Purchase is a function that allows suppliers to receive orders and payments online.
To enable this function for your product(s), your company should complete the set-up as follows:
1) How to receive payment
2) How much is the shipping rate
3) Product-related information for Online Purchase
1) How to receive payment
To receive online payment for an online purchase order, you have to link your PayPal Business account to hktdc.com Sourcing.
In the “My Dashboard” page, click “Online Purchase Setting”
Then, input your PayPal Business account ID here to link it to hktdc.com Sourcing.
Once your PayPal Business account is verified, the account status will display as “Submitted”, which means you can now receive payment using this account:
If you want to change your PayPal Business account to receive payment, please click “Modify” and input the new account ID in the New PayPal Account ID field and then click “Submit”.
2) How much is the shipping rate
- Easyship
You can link your Easyship account to hktdc.com Sourcing so you can manage all the shipping settings and rates from Easyship easily.
To do so, click “Online Purchase Setting” on the “My Dashboard” page:
Click “Shipping”:
Click the link as shown below and follow the steps to link your Easyship account to hktdc.com Sourcing.
You may click "Login!" to log in to your Easyship account
Or enter an email and follow the steps to register a new Easyship account
- Free shipping setting
Besides the standard shipping setting, you can also customise your company’s free shipping setting.
Go to the “Online Purchase Setting” page and click “Shipping”:
Then customise your free shipping setting by clicking the link as shown below:
Simply set up your free shipping settings here and click “Save” when finished.
3) Product-related information for online purchase
To allow your product(s) to accept online purchase through hktdc.com Sourcing, you should also input a set of product-related information.
The information includes:
- Inventory available for online purchasing
- Attributes available (i.e. are there any attributes, e.g. small, medium, large sizes available for a shirt)
- Packed weight and dimensions
- Delivery method
- With/without battery
- Return and refund policy
The information should be included with each product that you want to be available for online purchase.
Input the information when uploading a new product / editing an existing product.
In the “Add Product/Editing” page, switch on the toggle for Online Purchase:
You can then update all the Online Purchase information for your product:
To input all of the attributes available as options, click “Variable attribute” and add all the attributes: Remember to press Enter right after inputting each option
